On June 2 the Group will meet at its usual location. 503 E. 5th Ave., San Mateo. On June 9 and 16, the Meeting will be held at 15 2nd Avenue, San Mateo. The Group has been offered the opportunity to meet here instead of the 5th Avenue location. This will give us an opportunity to see if we prefer this building for future meetings. Following the Meeting on June 16, we will decide to continue to meet at 2nd Avenue or return to 5th Avenue.
The building is owned by St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and is sometimes used for church events, but not on Sunday mornings. The upstairs has two apartments, and the house is attached to a preschool building. We may use either the chapel or a living room for Meeting and have access to the restrooms and kitchen for refreshments after Meeting. The building is fully accessible.
It is easily accessible by public transportation. The El Camino bus stop is only a half block away, and the Caltrain station is only 2-3 blocks away. Parking on the street or in the parking structure across the street is free on Sunday.
San Mateo Quaker Worship Group
